Before I gave birth to my beautiful girl Sloane, I heard countless times, when you have your first, you'll be overwhelmed with a love like never before. Now I get it. I'm completely in love with my little girl. After fifty hours of contractions and being in labour for almost a full day (eek), Sloane Olivia Walsh finally graced us with her presence. I say without hesitation it was the proudest moment of my life. When I held her in my arms for the first time, it felt like a dream. I think I was so exhausted and overwhelmed by the entire experience that when she was finally here, it seemed too good to be true. When it came to labour and delivery, we definitely had our ups and downs....
Image via @piggyandpolly Week after week, I write about trends, products and fashions we're currently loving, are looking forward to or simply admiring. A lot of the time, I don't make it known in our blog posts, but the gals of FTC are extremely loyal to a lot of brands and companies that are cruelty free. We are animal lovers through and through (we both consider our dogs our kids), enough so, that we NEVER carry real fur on the truck. If any of you reading this are smiling or nodding your head, then this blog post is for you! Image via Pinterest I must say, this has been an incredibly busy stretch for the Fashion Truck and we couldn't be more excited! We're super busy with lots of private holiday parties and even travelled to Ottawa this past weekend to spread the love. We're pretty booked up this holiday season, but as of now, we do have a couple of spots left, so if you're interested, email either Ashley@FashionTruckCanada.com or Kayla@FashionTruckCanada.com and we can figure out a date! It's such a magical time of year, what's better than making mulled wine and shopping new arrivals with your closest girlfriends? Can't beat it. Speaking of the holiday season, our neighbors south of the border, are celebrating Thanksgiving and we can't help but think about...

I'm not sure if most or any of you know but for the first 6 1/2 years of my career, I was a Sports broadcaster. I was a TV/Radio Host and Reporter, and worked for Sportsnet 590 THE FAN, Sportsnet and Leafs TV. Drastically different from the fashion world to say the least. When you're in the spotlight every day, the bosses typically feel the need to guide or essentially analyze every move made by the on-air talent. It's suffocating. I can't even begin to describe...
Overspending. It happens to us all, but let me tell you, it doesn't go down as often as it used to. When I was a young pup, it seemed as though I spent every dime I earned on fashion. When I was in my early 20's, I would go to town on trendy pieces, only to donate them a few months later. Don't get me wrong, I love to help people and charities, but I found my careless spending wasn't doing anything for me or my future. As I've grown older and a little wiser, (I'm approaching 30, welp), I've become more selective when it comes to fashion. I have a husband to think about and I know having children...
