Whether it's a snap of a jaw-dropping outfit or a breathtaking ocean view in sunny California, Fashiontruck Canada gets it's inspiration from endless sources. Ashley could be out on a walk with her baby boy Eddie and see something that catches her eye, or Kayla could spot something on Pinterest while researching for one of our blog posts. We're always looking for creative, bold style. Whether we find it by people watching, a certain blog, the city we live in, or travelling...our eyes are always open! After all, we're running a wildly popular mobile boutique in the biggest city in Canada, so we have to be on top of our game. ;)
We're kicking off this two part series with Kayla up first! Ashley will share her inspiration in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!
Love,
Ashley & Kayla xoxo

I've been on the hunt for a quality bike for quite some time and recently, I discovered this gem and immediately purchased it. I went for the 7-speed so it could be more than a leisurely ride. I want to be able to ride to work and arrive on time. One thing that I kept questioning, would I have to rock active wear all the time? Well, the answer is no. Not after I saw this. A flowy pullover and some classic denim will do the trick! Ill be riding in style this Spring with a smile on my face. Biking is my fav type of exercise and makes me genuinely happy. That will definitely put a pep in my step while I'm on the truck and maintaining a happy, upbeat personality is crucial for the job.

The Hermosa Beach Pier scene in La La Land is truly breathtaking. It was filmed during magic hour and I can't imagine going to California and not checking out this location and being able to take in the scenery. I love everything about this picture. The colours, lighting and the fact that the pier looks like it's leading you into the ocean. Stunning.
I know when you look at this picture, you see insanely delicious pancakes. To me, this picture represents so much more. Ever since January 1st hit, I've made a conscious effort to eat healthier, workout more and completely cut out alcohol. Over the last couple of months, I've beaten myself up whenever I've had a slice of pizza or Chinese takeout. This past Sunday was the first time I ate an indulgent meal and felt GREAT about it afterwards. I had worked hard in the office and the gym all week and I really wanted to treat myself. I mentally patted myself on the back and didn't even question the fat content or calories. I felt relief that I didn't judge myself. Plus, I got to spend the entire brunch laughing and chatting with the love of my life, a perfect Sunday in my books. From here on out, I'm going to love my body and my decisions and stop constantly worrying. You could call it an epiphany. Thank you School (LV restaurant) for the inspiration.

Isn't this Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree beautiful? One day down the road when we design our FTC offices, this is exactly how I'd imagine the aesthetic of the space looking. I'm so tempted to grab a small one for the fashiontruck, think it'll look so sweet.

When I came across this photo, I instantly wanted to plan a getaway with my husband. I'm a strong believer in taking time for yourself, it gives you a much needed break and makes you way more productive when you return to work. When you're stuck in the daily grind and haven't had any down time, day to day life can get tough. I'd love to be sipping on coffee, snacking by the pool while catching some rays. The best.
