First off, can you believe that it's already Canada Day Long Weekend and the 150th anniversary of our beautiful country? Wow, time flies! We got to thinking this week, how special this milestone really is. How are you celebrating? Are you traveling to cottage country? Planning a staycation? Well, we thought it would be a good idea to muster up some fun plans and share them with all of you, so you can make the most of a beautiful, once in a lifetime weekend. Below, are some ideas we came up with so you grateful Canucks can live it up and celebrate. A must on this list, is of course, making a pit stop in Muskoka to come visit us at our pop-up shop at SWS Marina! We'll be there all weekend long, soaking up the sun and styling our wonderful customers. We'll be open from 9am-5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday....AKA ample time to #shopthetruck :)

Heading up to the cottage this weekend? Treat yourself to an al fresco dinner on the dock at sunset. Wine, great food and company as the sun goes down....sounds like heaven to us!

If you plan on staying home, create a backyard oasis that friends and family can enjoy. Feel like bringing your space to the next level? Blow everyone away with a backyard movie night. Pin up a screen on the side of your house, stock up on pillows, sheets and blankets and of course, snacks! Movie night can have a whole new look.

Ever tried glamping? This style of camping is definitely on our to-do list. Even better if you can do it right on the beach. If this is right up your alley, try finding a spot at Sandbanks. Beautiful white beaches for days. They also allow dogs on certain locations, so the whole fam can enjoy some fun in the sun. I went last year with my entire fam jam and it was a blast! Make sure you have some adult bevies on ice...always nice to toast to a long weekend.
Toast to Canada's 150th with craft beer, food and family friendly activities at the Brewer's Backyard (Evergreen Brickworks). A big bonus, it's free admission and they'll be doing fireworks during the evening.
Head out to Sugar beach and post up underneath these adorable pink umbrellas with a perfect view of the city. You can also get a few cute snaps for Instagram, which is always a bonus. :)
